Settled into a comfy kitchen chair with a steaming mug of tea in hand, I’ve just come in from the early rounds. Across the fields, lambing season has begun, and with it comes that unmistakable sense of renewal. New life is everywhere - lambs finding their feet, apple buds swelling on the trees, willow just beginning to flower, and a full chorus of birdsong filling the air. The skylark, as always, leads the charge with the true voice of the British countryside.

We need to become more independent and take a bit more credit for the incredible Pasture for Life and Organically certified meat we raise here at Essebeare Farm.
